Can confirm- I love my spool gun. Squirting welds beats TIG when it doesn't have to be pretty.

Yeah seriously I come back and you jokers are talking about Backstreet Boys. Jeez.

@fatfurious2 - David I need to link up with you and talk trucks. The fiance gave the green light to a ~3week offroading adventure through colorado/moab/pacific northwest for our honeymoon next year. I'm about to go down the hardshell route w/ roof top tent and still have a bunch of off roading bits to get on. My heads spinning with all the options and you seem to have thought this all through quite thoroughly.

Here's a fantastic RTT opportunity. Usually hardshells are way more expensive.

Im in the market for a cap, and will be selling my RTT soon. I have some time off early next week, and the next weekend. July is kinda packed for me. Just PM me and we can figure out something

I have a 9 day trip in August for offroading/touring New England.

I really want to go to Moab/Colorado next summer. I just need to start planning (which I hate)

Came here for advice, get it in under 5 minutes. Awesome. Thank you. Looks like a might be a little late to the party on that one though as he has the total number of interested people already.

Yeah I'm thinking i'm just going to do a used Leer/ARE/equivalent cap. I found one I'm going to check out on Friday. Hardshell RTT would be cool like the above. David I might be interested in yours when you go to sell it keep me in mind. Are you just going to sleep in under the cap or do something different?

I reeeallly want an AT Tacoma Habitat- but for the price I can get a used cap, RTT, winch, finish the suspension with proper components, rear plate bumper, and the remaining armor I need. So yeah that's going to stay a pipe dream for the time being.

I want to get a different style tent with the cap. For me, the normal style RTT will be too tall with a cap. It is fine with a bed cage, but not a cab height cap

Yeah that's a concern for me. Fuel mileage will suffer badly with a traditional style RTT on the cap and I'll be going a lot of miles. The hard shells are neat but until I saw that group buy I ruled them out as too expensive.

I'm set up to buy a used LEER cap on Friday.

I'll have my Bestop for a 5' bed up for sale if any local guys are interested. Best current picture I have of it is below from when I was taking pictures of my Miata for sale.
