So, I've had plenty of modified suspensions in my past, and know there are always little corks that come along with it. Noises, rubbing, etc. However, there are two specific things I've noticed recently that I'm not sure if I can attribute to normal modification side effects. The first being my driver side sitting significantly lower than the passenger side, I'll post a picture. The second is a weird creaking noise (best way to explain it is a creaking noise you would hear from a boat in a horror movie) from the rear when I turn, especially left hand turns, since having the @ARCHIVE kit installed. Has anyone else had experience with either one of these? I'm having the truck checked out Thursday, but thought I'd ask here as well.FullSizeRender.jpg

You'd think the aftermarket companies would have adjusted spring rates on the drivers side to correct this by now.

Nope, fully upgraded suspension. In the rear I'm running King's, Deaver's, King Bump Stops, and the shackle flip kit. Up front is Total Choas LT.

think he meant you will get this as well on the stock suspension.

Thanks for the feedback, and my bad for misunderstanding the stock suspension leaning reference. I figured that was probably the case. The rear is the most concerning as it's not a squeak, it's a hard noise to explain. Almost like metal on metal expanding/rubbing type of noise (metal hull creak in a tanker is what comes to mind).

My TC spring under comes with deavers that are specific to each side to eliminate the taco lean. I would see whats up with the springs, I almost had my kit shipped with two of the same side springs.

Yeah it's probably not spring rate related though.

Well true, but the eyelet heights should be a little different from one to the other. I believe mine were atleast 2-4 inches different.

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe that for the most part if you adjust the front suspension ( and most after markets have) the rear for the most part will level itself out ( barring any weird situation) as far as lean goes.

Yes, you adjust pre-load of the front springs if your struts/shocks have said preload ability. However, that does NOT change the spring rate.

It will to an extent, but especially with the OP having deavers I would bet money they are side dependent. Common remedy for this is having a slightly longer eyelet height for one side that will help with the added weight for the drivers side. OP is there any way to measure the middle of your hub to the bottom of the bedsides to see what the exact difference is? If its off by a good extent, you might of simply installed the springs in the opposite fashion.

Yup, I'll take that measurement when I get home from work.

Kick ass man. Either way with them being bolt on, shouldn't be hard to swap if that is the case. I assume your front drivers side coil has an additional two threads worth of preload compared to the passengers?

I actually did an eyeball measurement for the front, but I'll definitely take a better look when I measure the rear tonight.

Either I got lucky or it doesn't affect me enough to care, but drivers side of ours is less than 1/4", a little over 1/8" leaned.

I don't know if you have kings up front, but for me whether its OEM or LT kings, I need two threads worth of additional preload for the drivers side to balance out. King also sent mine out new with two threads of preload as well from the factory for the drivers side.

Looks like OP's lean might be just a little more lean than that. As much as my truck sways, it would bother me if I had that much lean. But to each their own.

I've got the Kings up front as well, so if I don't have the extra threads, I will make that adjustment.
