I'm on board with this also lol I just don't want them because there are enough people out there having kids that make up for me not having them...although my mom cried her eyes out when I told her this recently...:anonymous:

Just take your time. Having kid(s) is the only way you'll ever repay your parents for everything they've done for you.

I totally get that...but I also want kids for the right reasons...not because my parents want them. As of now...I just don't see myself having them and my gf doesn't want them either.

That's how I feel wheeling with GATOR  if I could keep the damn truck going, I just don't have the time/cash. Wheeling that hard that often catches up with an IFS truck quick.

If you wanted to do a more "fun" run, I'd be down later this year! @Toyboata is still kickin :fistbump:
6-8 months your truck is going to put mine to shame haha

Meh. Last time I went I was locked in the front, but I've pulled it since. It can get off camber quick without seeing what you're doing. The park is hard to explain... definitely has some of the nastiest lines in texas, though, which is why it's getting all this national attention. You see red arrows (trail markers) and you sit there like "wait, someone drove up THAT?!"

    :fistbump:

Pace bend is always fun. You can cliff jump there as well now, right?

    So much yes

I've got a racecar/4WD/guns/spoiled dogs to support already. Don't need kids.

Wheeling a 5th gen Runner honestly has been a little harder than I expected because of the size/weight/top heavyness of it but it has held up pretty well so far. I know that going down some of the real intense stuff would result in more broken parts though so I have tried to keep from doing that as it has the tendency to ruin a good trip but once I get a few more things done and continue to get more comfortable with it I expect I'll be pushing it further. A rear bumper really is something I need to get ASAP as I keep popping my rear bumper cover off when the rear slides or I catch it on a ledge and stuff. Also a gas tank skid as the 5th gen runner tanks hang down super low. We had talked about in the future pulling the tank and mounting an aftermarket fuel cell bolted down into the cargo area to completely get rid of the chance of it dragging underneath.

Yeah, they have a tendency to be top heavy, it isn't just your fifth gen haha. And yeah, the rear bumper on Toyotas is typically an abuse target. Some guy was complaining on Facebook because he did "a 3" and scratched his rear bumper on his stock 5th gen... /face palm

If you ever need some 5th gen specific advise, a guy named Britt has one he's wheeled a lot and knows quite a bit. He's a member of GATOR and Heart of Texas. These are his trucks:
    IMG_2738.PNG.jpg

    IMG_3381.jpg

He can get either of em anywhere, super cool guy and experienced AF

As for relocating the gas tank... sounds like the perfect excuse for a 4 link
