    34s (285/75-17) ride fine on stock gears. I can tell adifference but tolerable. Still spin em on pavement. Maybe at 35s i could justify cost/need for gears.

    I don't understand the fear of 285s.. especially when they are already mounted on wheels and could be used as a strictly "off road" set! LOL the MPG issue would be a non issue in this case!

    Edit: If nobody is interested in them I guess I'm going to go ahead and put them on CL.
