Doesnt work like that. The standard one they have doesnt stick out far enough to add on a swing out without going into a weld.

What happened to 5th gen rear? I love seeing the different company designs! Thought it was supposed to come out last year.

    Did I miss it?

I didn't have the patience so I have my single swing out gate on order, but definitely interested in a dual swing out!!

Yes we will be doing a dual swing out for all models eventually.

How much will it differ from current 2nd gen swingout? It would be awesome if it current model swingouts could be retrofitted to duals! :)

You'd have to weld on another hinge

I don't really see the benefits of a dual swing over the current design. Can someone elaborate why it would be better?

My thoughts: Another step in the process to accessing the tailgate, don't get a big drop-down table, probably longer production times...

Good for those who have a trailer. A single swing out can often times come in contact with the trailer/accessories.

Living in town, parking garage...basically similar reason as duvinclunk stated, shortens the range the swingout has from opening and making contact.
