Ugh.. Salty for sure. But meh, it's a business and so it goes. Tough for small markets to keep up! In the meantime, I jump in my truck, hit the dez or mountains and forget about that BS!

Hey Guys, I was going though this thread looking for options for a CMC. I know that Cruiser Outfitters was an option, but Bryce quoted me $225 and said it wouldn't be able to happen for 6 weeks from now. I Saw on this thread Bryce offered $180 for it, not sure if the price went up due to the busy season.
4 Wheel parts said they charge by the hour and it would be like $170 an hour or something, but don't know how many hours it would take.
Does anyone else have any recommendations? Looking to hopefully be under $200

hit up Agility Customs in Sandy - they recently installed my gears and gave me a VERY competitive quote to do the CMC. I just have to find time to bring my truck in for them to do it.

Todd is the guy one to answer emails.
Ryan is the guy that does the work.

It's a small shop and they work on mostly jeeps/rock crawlers but I'm happy with their work so far

I just shot them an email. Hopefully they aren't too bad pricing wise. I can wait a little while to get the CMC done if I need to. I have 315s that fit now, but rub at full turn. any off roading would rub a whole lot more. I also have spacers in my wheels I'd like to get rid of. I think the CMC will allow me to do that and rock 315s without rubbing.

Go to Fat Bob's Garage in Layton - happy with the job they did on mine and were fairly priced.

I'll be in Salt Lake City/Park City with my wife/8 month old son tomorrow to Wednesday. Any recommendations on things to do or see/places to go? We're flying in so no Taco with me.

Don't be scared to go swimming in the great salt lake! Maybe see some bison at antelope island.

You are kidding - right? Wild horses couldn't drag me into that water, yuck.

Traveling with an 8 month old friendly activities -
    • Drive to Park City see the Olympic venues, walk around the city. 30 minutes from down town
    • Drive to Big or Little Cottonwood canyons go hiking on the many trails. 40 minutes from down town
    • Drive out to the Bonneville salt flats and see where the speed records are set. 2 hours one way
    • Go to Temple Square and see the head quarters of the Mormon church.
    • Go out to Antelope Island and see the bison and good views of the great salt lake. 1 hour
    • Drive up to Promontory point and see where the transcontinental rail road was finished. 1 1/2 hours

Hey I'm on the lookout for a silver cap or a black hard tonneau for my '10 Tacoma double-cab, 5' bed. I haven't found the magic KSL classified's kung foo to find a listing yet, but if anyone here is aware of something for sale, I would love the referral.

Thanks folks! I've been mostly lurking here, had my Taco for about a year now. Loving it so far! Took my '08 VStrom 650 down to Moab last month, and immediately wished I were in the Taco (heat, as well as trails being a bit more 'advanced' than my VStrom could handle).
