I am interested in getting them for a 2017 TRD Double Cab in either:

- full black with the perforated insert
or
- full black, perforated insert and orange stitching

Kinda worried about how the orange stitching will match the Inferno Tacoma.

Installed mine a few days ago. All black. I have a Quicksand TRD OR. Looks great. Kind of wished I would have spent a bit more and got the tan stitching, but am very pleased with the fit and feel of the kit. Seems much better then factory leather toyota offers. Install took about 2 hours. The hardest parts for me were the plastic there the headrests plug down into, getting the holes to pop up out, and the head rests themselves. The rest was fairly easy.

Few pointers. I let mine sit in the sun on the bed and tail gate to heat up as i did the install, it seemed to help them stretch better for install.

 

Super happy with mine. Added some color to the black interior.

Does anyone have a picture comparison of the Dark Grey vs the Black? I would like to get a set of these for my 2017 TRD Sport before the price increase.

When will this go into effect? I'd like to order before the price of the solid color kit goes up.

 

July 1st.... not sure if it's retroactive. There were some remaining deals a few posts back posted by Clazzio himself.

 

Tyler said in about a week, the price for the solids will go up, didnt say how much, but I just ordered my set yesterday and is being shipped out today. I wouldnt wait too long if everyone knows about the pending price increase, they may sell out of their inventory and you will have to wait awhile for it to be in stock.

 

More specifically.. on ALL BLACK alone.. the price will go up $100, as soon as these last 10 kits sell. Which, we sell about 10-20 tacoma kits a day so.. it could be A LOT SOONER... For TW though.. I'll probably launch a solid $100 off instead of the $75.. to help keep you all happy.. one the pricing DOES change..

 

Will the leather covers burn my a$$ in the hot summer?

 

Yes, I left a door open without the tint blocking the sun and I would say yes.... the PVC burns more than leather in my case, since it's black and my inserts are gray perf'd leather.

Get a good tint with strong UV blocker. I have that Crystalline stuff and the back headrests weren't too bad after the sun sat on them for a few hours with the tint. I have it all around except front windshield.

 

I have all black with leather inserts and no tint. Have had them for nearly 17 months. Generally 100 daily temps here in the summer. Never got burned by my seat covers. The perforated inserts cool quickly. I park in the sun 90% of the time.

 

Installed my new seat covers yesterday and couldn't be happier you would really have to look hard to tell it's a seat cover they really fit tight I revived everything quickly it took me about 3 hours that's with taking a few breaks cause of the heat outside thanks to the clazzio guys the order was a breeze love the stitching it really looks good with my blazing blue taco with the embroidered headrests.

 

Do you have current pics of how they held up over the past 17 months, any creasing, wear, etc that you noticed? Its nice when they are new, but I want to see what it looks like after some time on the truck and used daily.
