Hood jiggles at highway speed

My hood starts to jiggle at highway speeds. It almost looks like it's loose. Checked all bolts and they are tight. It's perfectly lined up with the fenders. Anybody else notice this on theirs? It's done it since day one. Not bothering me.

 

Are all the weather strip looking gaskets under the hood still there?

If you checked all the bolts holding the hood down then i would guess it has to be the latch that's loose?

 

Mine did the same, so I adjusted the little bump stops on the end of the hood out until I liked how it sat, no more jiggle.

 

I'll try that. Completely forgot about those things

 

I had the same issue, but I had a bug deflector. After I removed that and tightened the bump tops that seemed to help a ton.

 

Toyota trucks tend to have bouncy hoods from my experience. My Taco and my 09 Tundra are like this.

 

I noticed this on my '09 when I rove it home last October, the rubber bumpers on both sides seemed a bit permanently deformed. Dug through the junk drawer and found a bit of 3/8" fuel line from my Miata days, eyeballed that a 1/2 section of same might do the trick:



That and extending the adjustable bumpers over the headlights a bit made things right...
