It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
That was where we started the conversation... But apparently, she has this thing about "shade tree" mechanics. Seems someone once "fixed" her car...

I tried to splain that we could do it, but she said that with me commuting 100 miles a day, she wants to be sure I'm safe, and the work is done "right". She might change her mind yet... But if it comers down to pay to get it done or not do it at all... I'll let her pay for it.

    A thing or two...
@Casper66 has mentioned that he's interested in picking up a Bestop at some point, so if @Me. Projekt doesn't grab it, you might try hitting him up.

I've got B on my truck, but I think A would look really good on your black truck.

Hopefully next week, I'll get word that my bumper is shipping. They told me a month when I ordered it in June, but the website says 6-8 weeks. Today was 3 weeks, so I may give them a call next Monday just to see if there is any update.

I've got a set of factory steel rims with lug nuts and TPMS sensors (no tires/no center caps).

If that is the case then I vote b.

What springs with the toytecs? With that bumper it might be better to go with OME 886.

600lb springs... so 10 lbs above the 887s, 60 lbs below the OME 886s....

@TacoCat , can you chime in? you havent seen any problems have you?

Do you plan to have a winch on the bumper? If so, then I would def consider heavier springs than 600s.

yea I do plan on doing a winch...

hmm well then I'll probably start looking at Nitrochargers w/ extended studs so I can do a 1/2" spacer up front w/ the 886s to maintain the full 3"

I'd also be curious to see how the 5100s work with the 886s

Def stiffen it up then for sure. I don't know if the spring rate will be similar, but many for Kings will bump from a 600# spring to a 700# with a full plate bumper and winch. I would see if you might want to bump up another 50-100#?

I know when I had my Xterra, I did a full plate bumper, full hoops, and steel cable winch on the Nisstec (sister company of Toytec) Ultimate Lift kit and never had a problem... I know the spring rates are similar... but I'll have to look into the specifics

That's what I'm thinking of running when I get my bumper and winch.

Unfortunately I don't have any experience with the spring rates with the bilsteins and OME, but Im sure others like @Lots2Learn58 can as he has a similar set up.
