No worries man, if you have a welder and are comfortable then you can mod your brackets super easy. If not, then it might not be worth the deal. In my case, I got a crazy deal on a close out on the Baja designs light bar I got for 50% off. I wasn't willing to let go of the light bar at the deal I got knowing it gave crazy output...so in essence I understand the feeling.

I have tried it maybe 5 times in my life. Still don't care for it at 33 and likely never will, but my early morning workouts and protein shakes (chocolate) easily gets me going. For those that do rely on coffee, is it horrible without it? I have never really lived having to rely on something to operate in my life.

I have a good friend that teaches welding at the local community college. He is my go to for small fab jobs. Even Stevie wonder would call my welds ugly.

yep, without it I just want to lay on the floor and nap for another few hours. I wish i could operate on preworkout, I use to chug that shit in college when hemorage had their first formula with that banned substance ---that stuff made me go like the energizer bunny.

If that is the case, then go for it. My buddy @90yota had some extra metal from home depot lying around and we just cut off 2x1.5 inch pieces to extend on the pieces that I got. Worked out perfect if you go that route.

I remember I had an ex in college that used to get the ice coffees at the local dunkin doughnuts every morning. She became so dependent on the sugar fix that I always felt bad for her when she didn't get them as she seemed like she was going crazy. I def am tired for about the first 10 min I get up, but commuting with my road bicycle to work tends to wake me up about half way through the ride.

I mean do it myself but dealing with backlash seems to be a challenge for many.

I think you need a special tool. They might sell the gear install kits. But recommend a professional shop to install them.

I am not that technical to figure out that stuff. Which is why Id rather pay someone. @Coot83 is pretty technical though

Ha def too much praise for me, when it comes to gears the only weapon I got is money. I too recommend a shop unless you are familiar at a minimum...I have had gears go to shit on my first gen, but luckily it was through a shop so I didn't have to eat that.

the self serve shop i use has them, just too scared to risk it. Ive done all sorts of installs on the taco but am hesitant on this one.

Ill most likely go ecgs and avoid the anxiety. Hoping to go 35s and be geared by winter so we shall see.

I know that many can swap it out if they got the full member, could be worth hitting up your local group of amigos and see what they might be willing to do with some beers and some decent food? I got a few guys up here I can always ask to see if they are interested when it comes like stuff like this for me. I bet your region is similar.
