    I was actually thinking along the same lines; if you're wheeling in a trench at a funny angle, it might come in handy if you need to get out to run winch line or something.
    But you'll look like a tool the rest of the year...

    I'm assuming that's on the 10mm bolts at the rear of the bed on the driver's side... What do you have for a radio in the cab?

    I saw a crown Vic or a mercury town car running around town with chrome step bars mounted on it. If I wasn't doing 45 and going the opposite direction I would have taken a picture of it. Looked really FU.

    I have the BAMF tailgate antenna mount. Running a Larson antenna and the Kenwood TM-V71A.

    I started to really get into HAM, it's extremely fascinating but too time consuming for me at the moment. I did get a APRS setup working. Wish it was more active in my area.

    I need to take some pictures of my install/setup.
