The first thing I ever bought from ebay was a fender for a Ford truck. It was the early days of ebay. Like you said I came home from work one day and there was a fender standing against my front door. That was so cool.

level kit wont ruin the ride comfort... its different but alot of people including myself like a more level or nose ever so slightly up ride.

Spacer lifts don't ride well, and bro lean is not a good thing.

Appreciate it! I'll let everyone know if anything happens to them. I can't take credit for the headlights...my husband did most of the work. Now I see why he kept putting off doing them for a year

There is one.. but I was referencing yanking the headrest for that middle seat in the back.. its about useless and it blocks the window.

spacers ride fine.. you just wont have as much travel in your suspension. bro lean wont hurt anything as long as you arent over doing it. +2" front with no rear is the max id do. would a real level kit/ lift be better absolutely but not everyone has money for a lift right away. #mytwocents

Getting the headlights out of the truck seemed to be the worst part for us. Having to completely demolish the whole front end was an absolute pain. Had someone ride by and thought I had totaled the truck hitting a deer haha. Glad it's over with now and I'll enjoy looking at the finished product

Ah. What also works really well is pressing the release of the bigger headrests, and they lean forward. You can see out the whole window. Then once you have someone in the backseat, just tilt the headrests back up.

sure, they work, until they dont.. Or until the lower part of the factory strut breaks and the whole thing collapses. That's been a well documented issue.

If you have bro lean, you are doing it wrong. And less travel = bad ride.

I'm gonna try this. In 10 months, I think I have only had one person in the backseat, and only one time.

I think it depends on what you have. I have a spacer lift currently and have had no issues and it rides great. I plan on switching it when I upgrade my Suspension to 6" but I have no complaints with the ride of my truck being smooth.

This is exactly why I went with the spacer lift. Got it for $323.03 and it's amazing. For the time being, that's all I needed was a 4" lift. I've contemplated not even upgrading but I definitely want the 6". Figured it would give me time to afford other mods that were on my build and a chance to figure out what I exactly wanted Suspension System wise.

You're gonna need some steps for that 6" lift!

People get WAY too hung up on the ride "comfort" of a spacer lift, if you can call it that. I've ridden in a spacer lifted Tacoma and they ride terribly. The real issue is the stress that they put on your factory strut which is well documented of failing. As a matter of fact, I gave my factory take offs to a local member to get him out of a jam because the lower part of his factory struts collapsed. Don't do a spacer lift, save your pennies and do it right. On my old 2012, I waited over a year driving it stock until I could afford proper suspension
