I my truck the left and right fold down so they don't block the window. Do they not do that on the sport?

My brother has a spacer lift/level on his ford... The ride didn't change at all from what i could tell... But he doesn't drive off road either...

I off road a few times a week in deep sand pits... And i live on a bumpy dirt road too. As much as i want to lift my truck i just can't bring myself to use a spacer lift... I keep looking at the low range off road kit for under 300... But then keep deciding against it because of all the crap people talk on here about spacer lifts....

Like I said, I have zero complaints and even as a spacer lift, I get a TON of compliments on every area possible. I've had a TON of people ride with me and drive it themselves. As well as inspect everything I have done to it. Never said I'm not saving my pennies because I think everyone knows my plans for my truck from my build page but it's also allowed me to do everything else and has allowed me to make sure I spend my money one time and one time only because I've done my research on what I feel is best for me. I think a lot of it has to deal with what you are doing with your truck as well and how hard you run it. That's why people say some people are just hard on vehicles. Some vehicles will never last for certain individuals. Whereas for others, it could last a lifetime. Just simply is hard to say. People make the most of what they've got at the time.

You can try and convince yourself of whatever you want, just like your belief that a 6" lift will increase your offroad performance. But I actually know better. Both cases of the failed strut due to a spacer lift that I have personally seen failed on the street, on trucks that rarely if ever see the dirt. I actually do know what I am talking about and have first hand experience with these products, so again, you can convince yourself of whatever you want, I however choose to follow the facts and will never suggest someone throw something on their truck that will decrease its performance and ultimately cause it to fail down the road.

edit: to add.. Am I suggesting that people spend thousands on the best suspension out there? no. But, there are affordable ways to do things right. Spacers are junk, pure and simple. Argue all you want, but facts speak for themselves.

Lol. Damn. I'm just being an advocate for some people. I know how you feel about the 6" lifts and whatnot. It will improve my performance that I have planned for my truck. If I was hard core into off roading I probably wouldn't go to a 6" lift. But...I have other plans with only some off roading in the picture. I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything. Everyone can do whatever they want for their trucks. Just options.

I could totally 100% agree with this. Again, it depends on what you have planned for your truck, where you live, and etc

Wrong, a 6 inch lift will not increase any type of performance except for the trucks stature at the mall.

I guess if that's what some people want then go for it. Why is it up to me to judge them for what they want with their truck.

Done. On to the next subject please...

Finished installing my CaliRaised 32" LED Bar Bumper kit from the previous group buy. I still got my custom CH4X4.com switch to install but I'm very happy with the turnout. I also have a deep fascination with Transformers so it suits me well. Energon laser for Nemesis.

Haha, not that kind of transformer, like Transformers aka Megatron and Optimus Prime.
