Installed these FP racing shorty levers on my bike! I like them a lot. I almost ordered $20 eBay levers but saw too many horror stories of people's front brake locking up.

I was wondering what your opinions were on clutch lever free play? Right now I've taken up all the slack. I don't know if that's right or not. It's basically just at the point where it won't flop around on its own if I just bop it around.

That's where I always kept mine, just ever so slightly preloaded to keep it from rattling.

I have thought about this as the SMH10 speakers are crap. But I don't know how well those would fit in my ears, like wouldn't they fall out when you are putting on/taking off your helmet? Wouldn't they squish into your ears if you did get your helmet on without them falling out? Do they make replacements for the earplugs in case they get dirty or used too much?

Same helmet model I have! Love it. Does the rear left vent have a lot of wind noise coming through it? I have covered that vent with scotch tape and it cut down on 80% of the wind noise (it was especially terrible when looking to the right). I need to do something more permanent to it.

Mine fit me very well. As long as you put them all the way in your ear I doubt they'll fall out when putting on or taking off your helmet. Mine never have except for the few times my gloves may have caught on the wire and yanked them out. The actual headphone portion is thin enough that they fully fit in my ears, so the helmet doesn't jam them in at all. They do offer replacement ear buds as well. $11 for 5 replacement buds.

I had eGay specials on my Ninja and never had a problem, no way I'm spending $200+ on levers...

I didn't want to risk it. It was a problem with the GSXR for some reason. $140 for some levers that won't make me lay my bike down is ok with me.

I typically did a quarter coin thickness. I also rocked some asv levers on my cbr. Those things were so nice in the hand

Quarter coin sounds good. I could probably do that and then adjust the lever throw one more click. These levers are not quite a "true" two finger operation, more like three for me, unless part of my hand is hanging off the bar. So I still pull it in to where it squishes my ring finger a little bit when I shift gears.

So I charged up that spare battery, cleaned the connectors to the battery, and replaced the solenoid with the new one. Took a few times but then started. I put some seafoam in the gas tank. Now starts up right away! So not sure which one it was but it works now even after sitting this week while I was gone
