Watered Down Tacoma

Hey you guys this is my first post so let me give a brief introduction of my name and truck,
My name is Kyle and I own a 2006 Toyota Tacoma Pre-runner with aftermarket manual 4wd and electronic front and rear lockers.
This truck has been amazing so far but after a weekend on a trail coming back from fishing this water hole prevailed to be deeper than expected.

How the truck got the problems
The truck could not get traction on the bottom of the water hole due to me being carelessly in 2wd once we came to a dead stop I kept the truck running and did my best to keep it from hydro locking. After sitting in the water for a few minutes the truck horn started to go off so we shut it off and pulled the cables off the battery while we waited for over 2 hours to get help while the truck filled with water. Upon pulling the Tacoma out of the water it started right up water was high in the truck but the gas and brake pedal were still showing. Once it was out of the water I immediately brought it to my house changed the oil, flushed all the other fluids at a local shop, and sucked up as much water as I could with a steam cleaner.

Problems with truck
- Air bag light is on
- Check engine light came on and went away
- Air-conditioning worked for a week or two after
- Starter and wheel bearings were both replaced right after
The mechanic that fixed the starter and wheel bearings advised that when he looked into the codes that it was throwing codes for every single component for the airbag system, the ecu, and many other components. When using my co-workers Autolink

AL319 I did not see any but one code for spark plugs.

I am trying to find the best possible way to find out what has caused the airbag light to come and how to go about getting this truck back to the way it was before. Look forward to hearing suggestions and opinions.

Your airbag connections/plugs/ etc probably got wet.

I suggest unplugging the airbag wiring and let it air dry.

Add dielectric grease and reconnect.

Make sure the battery is disconnected when you do this.

 

Any chance you have a wiring diagram or a sensor location diagram. Will be tearing apart stuff tonight after work and seeing what I can find. Forgot to mention the seat sensors for the air bags are also bad because they were under water too. Would also like to check my ecu and see how that looks but struggling to find some diagrams online.
