Oh no, if I kept a spreadsheet then I would know what I've spent. That information is better left lost to the sands of ignorant bliss.

If you highlight someones words (even just a couple), a little thing will come up next to it that says "Quote/Multiquote".

hell no! my system is like @GC8Steve except as soon as I order, I expect a tracking number, and I sit by the door waiting.

I do know what everything costs in my mind, but im not sharing that.

When painting headlights I would do some light sanding on all the chrome pieces and clean the surface well after. I forget the exact name, but there is a plastic applicator spray that many use on the bezel of the headlights before applying your primer and paint coats. This applicator will make the paint adhere to the bezel better and make it where it can handle some flex. Clear coat is dependent if you want a black shine or not when you are done, but I would hit a few coats of clear for good measure to help protect from the heat of the lights anyway. Cracking those open shouldn't be a problem though, did you by chance verify if the projectors in them are indeed "HID" projectors or is this a one off build from a retro guy? I ask as I haven't come across a stock aftermarket light that comes with "hid" projectors, but has halogen ones instead. If this is the first, then this is truly a great find.

adhesion promoter. My friend owns a custom car restoration shop. Thats what he used to paint the plastic panels on my Element.

@Casper66 knows what the real name is I think.

I think its a double cab and whoever thought of you didn't put two and two together when they commented. I could be wrong though, it has happened once or twice in my life.
