Where do you get them? I used to split the shafts down on the lower corner, back when I used those. I liked the idea of switching the blades out, but in my experiences, for ice at least, my stick would break on the lower quarter of the shaft anyways, not at the blade. So I wasn't really saving money by running the 2pc.

 

Those Innos were nasty though. Nothing wrong with those. Good sticks.

 

Oh shit I've got a red innovative in the garage that I played with back in the day. Thing is a log! It's cut down. I swear to god it must be a 175 flex I cant even flex it now and i'm a slim 240 lbs. haha

And come on! Get back out there! I had to cut back to 3 times a week instead of 5 lol since my little guy was born.

Hockey is a hell of a drug.

 

The leafs are in a unique situation as whoever and what ever type of team they put on the ice it does not matter. You simply can't buy a ticket no matter how bad the team is. Fans there just love hockey and the leafs.

 

That is awesome. And I remember my friend used those back in high school. They were cool. Right now I still have 2 20Ks left so I'm running with those before I get a couple new Ribcores. I cringe every time I buy sticks.

3 times a week is still solid. I can only do 3-4 nights a week when I'm doing my spring / summer clinics. And as I said, our home rink is down for renovations. So I'll have league nights starting back up this fall / winter. And then in March I will have a nice little span when I can be out there 4 times a week. Can't wait. You are lucky.
