Brought our DC in. It has 2500 miles on it. They did the leaf springs and the auto tranny flash. No pain at all. Prime Toyota in Saco maine.

Those of you that are getting this done, I assume all the trucks are under the standard warranty period? <5yrs <50k miles?

Supposedly Toyota declined mine due to it having 18k miles and 2005 with Gold Extended Warranty.

9k, I really wasn't that surprised, The dealership has been very good, although I haven't really had any problems, the purchase was pleasant, and the couple of follow-ups I did have were very professional. This dealership actually made buying a new vehicle fun again. Doc

    Thank you.

Going to call the dealer today.

When you called, what did you tell them...That you wanted the TSB done for the rear? Or that you were having issues carrying heavy loads and you were bottoming out?

The Dealership is going to have to inspect the truck first to make sure that your eligible for the TSB. Afterwards, if your eligible they will order the parts for you. Make sure the your vin number is in the TSB.

    Ok, Thanks.

How do I know if my VIN Number is in the TSB? Is that in the newest TSB PDF, Or is there a web site I can go to?

I can't get Toyota to answer this
My VDS is "MU4FN" and listed on the front page of the TSB but there are no alignment specs listed in the back even though on page #3 there is time assigned for the alignment

I asked Toyota why there is no reference for the alignment in the back of the TSB
    They currently don't know

Has anyone with a "MU4FN" VDS gotten the TSB done where an alignment was also done:confused::confused::confused:

Springs are scheduled to changed out next week

    Toyota just called me back

After much research they discovered that they inadvertently omitted the specs for my VDS (and maybe others)

They are going to contact the dealer to ensure that they have the appropriate specs

Since I do not have the original alignment specs I don't know if the ones to be used with the TSB (new springs) are different though I would think that they will be due to the raising of the rear end

Does anyone know this to be true?

    Hi Folks,

Good info here. Getting mine done soon.

btw, where is the place to find TSB's...i searched Edmonds.com and they don't
show the one we're talking about here?

Is there some link at the Toyota website?...

    Thanks,
    Paul

tried to get tsb for springs on my 2010 but of course getting the run around. They say they have to put weight in the bed and drive it around to decide whether i need it or not. Sad

    Thanks Crom and Norm.

Odd that they would not be available free. Seems like that should
be public info, seeing they take the time to publish the document anyway?

...or is this some 'required by law' thing that they get around by publishing
the document, but not making them so easy to access?

    Cool on the link.
I'll ogle around and see what i see.

oh, and thanks to Homer J, and/or anybody else for posting the .pdf(s).
