A couple weeks ago i broke my front drivers side shock, which i have since replaced, but my coilover is resting on the sway bar, maning it really uncomfortable while off-roading, could the sway bar be broken? Or the shocks were not put in right?

You need a swaybar relocation kit to go with your lift. Cheap and easy to install.

You also need to run bump stop extensions so you don't snap the strut in half again. What happens with spacer lifts above the struts is that the struts bottoms out before the control arm hits the bump stops. All that force is transferred to the struts rather than the bump stops.

Does your warranty not cover that?

He added a 3" spacer lift to the top of the coilover, likely voiding any warranty claims.

I would double check with your dealer. I got mine to promise me in writing that they would cover any leveling kit (spacer lift) damage up to 3 inches.

Remove the sway bar.. no reason to really have one unless you are a female driver.

Every Tacoma owner thinking about buying a spacer lift should read see this thread. Great for looks, horrible for real use off-roading.

I just installed a Icon Stage 1 kit ( front & rear ) on my '16 limited. I am now getting a squeak from the front, both sides. Inspected & found that the bottom of the coil over spring was rubbing up against the sway bar. The relocation sway bar bracket was not included in the kit. Have since obtained the bracket & ready to install. Just wondering if there is a video or something that shows the install of this bracket. I think I know how/where it goes but want to be on the safe side. Or better yet, it someone has access to a installation instruction sheet.

They aren't even good for looks. They are embarrassing and can easily be identified by someone who knows what a spacer lift is.
