I accidentally shipped my front header rail that is attached to the box assembly (closest to the cab) back when returning my bed cover. I contacted Toyota Parts and they do not sell the part separately. I have attached a picture of the part. Does anyone know of where I would be able to find a replacement?

I kept the one off my 15 when I traded it.

You're looking for the whole header; not just the rail?

@splitbolt Correct. It is the factory installed whole header rail that attach to the box assembly by 5 screws as depicted in the picture above.

You are just thinking of the 3rd rail that holds the sliding mounts. This is the fixed header rail that sits on top of the box.

The 3rd rail that holds the sliding mounts is actually not the part that I am inquiring about. The part that I accidentally shipped back was the fixed header rail that sits on top of the box.

Only the screws (90148-A0006) and end-caps (65100-04500) are sold separately from Toyota. The part you need is only sold with a new complete box assembly.

Part number is 65100-04500 for 5-ft box and 65100-04510 for 6-ft box.

(The part number for the add-on rail that some people like to add to the 2016+ to use with cleats or other accessories is PT278-35100-BH).

That might be a good idea. Does anyone know of a good salvage shop/junk yard?

Have you attempted to contact whoever you returned the bed cover to? They may be able to find it and ship it back to you if they haven't already received the return and discarded it.

I don't want to take the thread off topic and that really sucks what happened to you . But you returned it and they scrapped it? What does that mean. Was it deffective or you just returned a brand-new part and they throw it in the trash?

I interpreted that as they scrapped the part OP needs back. They probably did not scrap the returned product.
