I hear you OP. I would be pissed off that it even happened in the first place. I would be thinking to myself "Was this fucking thing made in Yugoslavia???". Then having to breath in damp, possibly moldy air... To hell with that.

Common Problem on the turd gen. Also the License Plate tag lights should come with little goldfish in them.

I'm sure everything you've ever bought, used, eaten, borrowed, whatever has a 0% failure rate of any components, whole or individual. Do you have a personal assistant who rolls out a red carpet for you ever step you take or what? And a person holding up your inflated egotistical and entitled head of yours?

    Because internet lol

Propose a solution or discussion other than what is inline with someone and you're either a fanboy or a hater. No room for reasonable discussions anymore :annoyed:

Ok, start to ? Sort of finished. 1. Call Customer care, got case #. 2. Scheduled an appointment with dealership, told them the problem. Everybody with me so far?
    3. Drove it the dealership, 1.5 hours later, "yep you have a leak, and yes it smells like mildew. But, we don't have the part!"
    4. Week later, "we have the part, come on down".
    5. I show up first thing Monday morning. I was told " we have a rental reserved for you because it's a lengthy process" this said the week prior. I get there, they drive me to Enterprise. No car was reserved. But, eventually it was handled.
    6. I come back later that day. I was told the part has been replaced! What about the interior ? Hmmmm... we only do what Corporate authorizes!
    7. Corporate calls this morning. "Oh they're washing it right now!" And the part has been replaced"
    8. I said " how's that possible when it's sitting in my driveway?"
So, I guess, in these tough economic times. Incompetent people can stay employed and lye to people? Awesome! Where do I sign up for that job?

Does OP have 4 degrees? Is OP into forced induction hood scoops and an expert on turbos?

It's just a bad situation for both parties, that's all. OP has an almost brand new truck that leaks, and all the dealership can really do is make their best effort, which it sounds like they are. I am sure the dealership is frustrated too.

I am sure we can all agree on that.

Conveniently ignored my whole post and not replied directly to it.

No one is saying he can't be frustrated, but how about act like a mature and reasonable adult and have it resolved without excessive and unwarranted expectations?

Not entitled, not unreasonable. Not mad at anybody in this post. There's going to be disagreements, and that's fine. So C4lvinn, your assessment is flawed. I've been curtious to everyone I've dealt with so far. But after the lies this morning and asking about what they're going to do with the interior, multiple times. No, I'm not happy! With either party.
When does self-respect come into play? Or should we just stick our heads in the sand and mutter peaceful butterfly songs?

Lies or perhaps just a mistake in communication? You're on here acting like the dealership/corporate are conspiring against you and intentionally trying to shaft you.
