Yeah that's the one thing I am a little disappointed in with this kit and when I was finished with that mounting location I wasn't super happy with it either. Everything else on it looks solid. I'll play around with a better location when I get to doing the other side and then probably move this one over.

Yeah, I would definitely move it if I was you. I am far, far from an expert on these things, but the "strap should be as close to a straight line as possible" was one of the "guidelines" that I read several times when I was researching limit straps. With that said, its difficult to get a straight pull on the front end of these trucks, but its hard to get worse than where DK placed theirs in that photo. Those limit strap parts/components are cheap compared to the rest of the LT kit, an hour or 2 or work and $25 to get a better pull angle on the limit strap may end up saving you several hundreds in damaged parts down the road :)

Well thanks for saying something. Like I said, I wasn't too happy, so I'm definitely gonna move it to be as straight as possible. Might have to make an upper mount that sits on top of the frame to get it straighter. I just need the truck on its wheels and rolling by Friday so if that's the case, I may be strapless while on the road until I can fix it. Luckily the street usually doesn't have jumps or whoops so I shouldn't have to worry about not having straps momentarily

What length straps did you end up with if you don't mind me asking? I'm going to try to maybe modify the mount to work on the other side, but if it doesn't work then I'll just end up buying shorter straps.

I feel you pain, I had a similar issue with Camburg's but it was totally my fault. I failed at compensating for the stretch so it would bind at full droop. Ended up scrapping everything Camburg provided since I screwed it up and going with an adjustable clevis and new straps.

Yup! Didn't bother with the rear, I went straight to adjustable clevises to avoid any headaches.

Ran into issues with non OEM axles but got one thankfully that was correct. All finished and at the alignment shop now.

Well other than me being terrible at doing my own alignment it's all together and what an improvement over the mid travel set up. Home alignment should get me by while everything settles into its happy place so I can retorque everything and get a proper alignment.

Thanks. Just a little trimming on the mount so it could sit flat on top of the frame. Not a ton of surface to weld, but triple passes on the welder should hopefully hold up

If anyone can get me a measurement of how far the tube sticks out on a 2.5 bypass that would help me out
