If you haven't been out there before be warned that their trail map is terrible and the trails are poorly marked, if at all. Neither are the ratings very consistent as trails have changed over time but they don't seem to have bothered updating them or maintain the trails in any way. Know that a 2 on there is basically a dirt road with some washboard and possibly some rocks thrown in for good measure. Stock you should be able to handle 3s no problem. Even 4s if you pick your line carefully -- but don't plan on it.

To keep you heading the right direction, I suggest using satellite imagery from Google Maps (or similar) as well as possibly something like Maps.me that shows trails and works offline. Should give you a better sense of where you are and what is an actual rated trail vs the numerous random paths.

    Have fun :burnrubber:

Didn't get a whole lot of pictures over the weekend but gf got these at Hidden Falls with @Texoma and @mustangstephen. Had a great time hanging out with a lot of the Austin crew last weekend on Cheeseburger Loop, C&C, and a little taste of HF. Thanks for the hospitality everyone.

Because i'm a total idiot I get now why you asked if I was your "Houston friend". I didn't put it together then as I was slightly distracted from my BF kicking on my Runner. Sorry!

I thought Toyota quit putting sensors in spares after '05.

My '14 Offroad doesn't have a sensor there.

If I am wrong somebody speak up.

As far as I know it does not. They're not made to be kept on the vehicle for extended amounts of time so there's not a need for a sensor in a factory spare. I know that my Runner spare did NOT have a sensor.

I'm not sure your truck will recognize more than 4 wheel sensors. So you may want to ask the DT staff about that before you invest in it.
