    That panel was broken on both my 1st gens. I ran a machine screw through it with a big washer ... ugly but functional.

    Wouldn't that be nice, I had to use a vacation day to get 1 day off...

    I picked up the final version of the reinforcement yesterday. Mounted it up and it fits good. I'm going to test it for a day or two for strength. Since I dropped the thickness of the plate a little. 10gauge sheet metal the first ones were made of was overkill.

    Just bought a 2000 Xtracab SR5. Was there a redesign to shorten up the driver's side? My driver's side is intact but short in length....runs only about 10 inches. The passenger side is completely missing!
