Sounds like a good shop- no blasting of the lugs indiscriminately w an air wrench??

6inch lift sitting on bilstein coilovers. Lexus is300 studs in front to keep stock wheels, general grabber red letters, nfab front bumper.
Run them on with an impact on lowest setting with a nut runner then torqued by hand. Simple.

That's what I do. My little impact is perfect. Takes less than a quarter turn with the torque wrench after a couple hits with the little gun.

Everybody is human and we all make mistakes. This is inexcusable. Fire the tech. Guarantee you he won't do it again. If you want perfection everytime you need to hire a robot, or a swede.

Got them from a member here a couple years ago. Like all good things from japan they are long discontinued. The knock off chinese market killed the japanese aftermarket like hks, greddy, etc

Agreed. Had to have some warranty work done, tech left grease in the inside door. Made a big stink over it and how my Truck is only 2 yrs old. They gave me 2 free oil changes. Never went back. Tech's are a bunch of stoned felons that don't care about anything yet alone your brand new truck.

So guys, i have a simple noob question and if I'm wrong for posting it here, sorry.

I want to know what size are my lugs. Im running on stock. I want to replace my lugs with matte black lugs. I can't seem to find any (probably because i don't know my size lug). If they don't make them, I was gonna order new lugs and have them sandblast the chrome and have them powder coated.

    Any ideas or info?

They won't write a police report. It's a log entry in their system at best. Civil information provided, 10-08.

Then work on your own truck. Agreed that a few bad apples give techs a bad name but there are some that generally care about what they do. I have over 30k in my toolbox alone. Not counting my box itself. That shows dedication to a career. Not a lot of jobs make the employee spend so much money to make a living.
