so i called progressive, my ins company. I asked if theyy offer additonal equipment coverage and gave her a small list of things, ended up costing an extra 500 a year/ 40ish a month for 10k in coverage. Anyone have this coverage? good idea or no?

I've been thinking of doing the same to make sure all my additions are covered, in the event of a wreck or theft. I think most companies cover up to maybe 5k if you have receipts and pictures or at least I think when I started looking into it a while ago that mine(Farmers) does. Its been a few months since I looked into it and havent done anything about it yet.

I have receipts for everything except for paypal transactions through classifieds, she did ask if i had receipts and if everything is bolted on or attached securely.

By the time suspension is done and if indo 4x4 conv, ill over over 15k into the thing. Id hate to completely lose it.

10-4. Timing might line up so let me know when you are ready. I think I want to go cab height to build some storage underneath the top and still have some room to use the bed.

I just have 3k in custom equipment coverage. I would be out some money if the truck was stolen and everything stripped but if i get in a wreck or some one stills something i am good.

Yeah i can already see the benefits of having a taller rack. But if i am going with a trailer then i think the mid rise rack will be fine.

But you have first dibs on the rack when it goes up! :fistbump:

Yall have any recommendations for Toyota Dealerships?

Thinking about getting a Highlander for my wife, but our dealership in WF only had 4 and they were all much higher trim level than we'd want and the local dealerships don't like to deal.

Had a good experience with Toyota of Fort Worth when I bought my truck from them, but that was back in 09 .

I got my Tacoma from Toyota of Burleson and they were great to deal with. Also Toyota of grapevine was pleasant during my leaf spring TSB.

Is there such thing as a good dealer? I have never had a good experience but I would think finding a very high volume dealer would be willing to work with you a little more.

I had pretty good experience with Forth Worth. I paid what I was expecting and no hard sales tactics. The salesman actually explained A-TRAC correctly. Plano was a different story. Went there and it was nothing but hard-sale tactics. They didn't even have a 4x4 which I clearly explained was not negotiable.

I've been using plano for service. They cross threaded a bolt on my skids during its first oil change. They fixed it(or said they did, i havent actually checked). Now i'm waiting for them to get my a/c part to fix that, Nation wide back order sucks so its not there fault. I may try Richardson service if I need more warranty work but really I'm hoping I wont need anymore warranty work and can just do all the future work myself.
