hammock, fans, there are things to avoid sweating your ass off. Just like camping in negative degree weather. It's really about how much you enjoy it and want to really do it or be there is what it comes down to.

i prefer this my self, cold isn't and issue, i can stay warm, cooling off isn't so easy.
But then, i don't sleep on the ground anymore either, and have yet to find a cargo sling that is comfortable enough and cranes are tough to pull thru the woods

I was a wilderness guide for a few years and have camped in summer and winter. (Granted the summer was in the App mountains). I so much prefer 5 degrees to 85 degrees. Give me a bone chilling night and I'm all set. Hell, I've hammocked down to 25 degrees. I live for the cold weather!

I always rocked a 20 degree mountain hardwear and when it was real cold a fleece liner. Both pack at half the size of that military bag. When you're carrying everything in your pack it makes a huge difference.

Soon, good sir! Mine should be a cakewalk.

Also, things might get creepy at the shop.

We are headed back from D.C. now.. just cross your fingers someone didn't steal my package off the front porch.
