    Honestly I'm not familiar with the dtrl Tacoma's. Someone found a way to swap to non-dtrl however I'm not sure how he did it or what parts were needed.

    They don't seem to be doing much more for the tacomas anymore. I'll have to look into the switchbacks. Do you have a photo of what you're talking about?

    Deep puddle ate the front lip off my evo today... Had to pull the bumper in the rain so that I could make it home soaking wet. This is why I don't daily the evo... But the truck is still on the lift.

    Ugh, is it fixable or did you crack it? Do you have quick releases on your bumper?

    I was always terrified running a low lip when I had my Accord since I had one of like 3 left in the country. I'd take it off the bumper before I'd put it on a lift.

    Yes I was one of the first people who started using the qwik latch system for the evo bumpers... then someone copied my idea and marketed it.... figures
    The lip ripped off and the bumper stayed in place but the holes the lip attaches to are torn but nothing a large fender washer couldn't help with my oem lip. Back to looking stock for now - not that I care enough to buy another lip.

    Not so sure how these would do as rock lights - they're fairly large in size compare to the rigid rock lights or the luxled's that I was looking at. I'm planning on acheiving 360 degrees of lighting with the roof rack... I just need to finish designing it first but these are small enough I can recess them into the rack

    Yea I haven't even looked into rock lights but at $20 a piece it's cheap enough. I need to get a bussman/aux fuse block for my silver truck before wiring more lights in
