    Two questions,

With the bike in the rack tilted at 45 degrees, is the tailgate touching the rack? I can't tell from the pick.

Also- with no bikes on the rack, if it is folded down , parallel with the ground, does the tailgate hit the rack when down?

    Thanks!

On my Gen3 and 1Up, tilting the rack down 45 degrees clears the fully open tailgate but the bike's crank has to be oriented right so the pedal doesn't hit the tailgate (trivially easy). With no bikes, the tailgate can open fully with the rack flat. It's like it was designed for the Taco!

The tailgate does not touch the rack when either tilted with a bike on it, or when folded flat in the horizontal position.

I love my 1Up. It takes me under one minute to install the rack, load the bike, and be on my way. Even on my old Golf R I could open the hatch after a bike was on (tilt back) if I needed something out of the trunk.

Also on my 1up...if I mount my bike in the outermost position of the two trays, I can lower my tailgate with the bike still attached and in the straight up position. I don't even have to angle the 1up carrier away at all. Its perfect for use on back of the Taco:

Yes. I tried a rocky mount and Kuat. Returned them both for that reason. Looks like 1 up is next.
