I still have stock front bumps.

My truck and drunk-me never see each other. I don't drive my truck very hard either, especially not on anything fast (thats what I got a mountain bike for). The front end of my truck almost never bottoms out (judging by the marks on the LCA), so I'm confident that the plate didn't break from abusive driving.

I did just crank up the pre-load a few months ago, I didn't measure so I can't say exactly, but I think it was somewhere in the 3/4" to 1" range. I would guess the plate broke sometime after that? I think the side that broke was pre-loaded a little more than the other side, but idk if that explains why both top plate bolts broke. I also don't know if Icon has changed anything about their shocks, but I these are about 9 years old. Maybe newer shocks perform a little differently with longer coils?

I'm not 100% certain the stiffness of the spring caused the plate to break, but something in my setup did, and I don't think it was my driving. This next time around I'll make sure to stay inside that 1" pre-load range. I'll also probably go back to 650 lb springs since I'll have a lighter truck, and some thicker/softer bump stops might also be a good investment.

i use xfinity fwiw. they're not great, mostly in customer service aspects and principle(net neutrality..blah blah), but their internet is fast enough.
Avid gamer, as well as the people i live with, and we have plenty of bandwidth for 3 powerhouse desktops, a ps4, and all our devices on wifi.

I had an old roomie that was kinda an idiot..anyways, he downloaded a movie (Antman iirc) on his laptop(not under the proxy i have setup encompassing the desktops) and xfinity docked our internet speed down to half for 2-3 weeks. yeah, don't do that.

Can't say anything to do with tv (because netflix), but I've never had an issue with their internet. Fast and not too expensive. As long as you don't rent their garbage modem/router.

If you think DirecTv is bad, get Dish and you will want to slit your wrists. Get internet, get Netflix/Amazon/Hulu/whatever and a antenna for local stations and call it a day.

I've had the opposite luck, xfinity fucked up our billing so bad we had to get a lawyer involved.

That sounds like our experience with direct tv, they started charging us for NFL ticket and no one in family watches sports.

We had dish in Florida for many years with no issues
