In this thread we're talking $350 bodies and ~$100 lenses though =p

For what it's worth, my refurbed Nikon had a shutter count of like 72 or something like that... Def. under 100.

The number of shutter actuations on a camera. It's often a way to tell how "used" a camera is. Under 100 is very low -- like mileage on a used car. Looking in forums one can often find the number of shutter actuations that would be considered "not worth it." Often kind of subjective since the overall use of the camera is to be considered - a camera with a low shutter count but used by and avid outdoorsman and exposed to lots of weather/rough handling might not be the same as a camera body used my a model photographer in a studio. Take it all into consideration - do some research - but shutter count is definitely something to consider -- often found in the software/menu of the camera and like an odometer difficult, but not impossible, to fool with.

Best of luck and happy shooting!!! It's a lot of fun and adds to our overall experience!!!!!

I think I'm going to order a Relentless front bumper and looking at the options for lights. Maybe the Rigid D2 "driving"?? Can I actually use those on pavement without pissing people off? Or would that have to be Rigid DOT/SAE? I like to have fogs for pavement use.

If you go to this link there is a drop down menu with the light options they bundle with it.

They offer a lot more options then when I got mine (rigid does I mean), but I would not recommend just the standard Rigid D2's if you want to use them with other cars on the road. Even in the pelfry bumper and recessed a bit they would be way to bright and blind people.

That's what I figured. The Rigid DOT/SAE are supposed to be approved for pavement use though.

Yeah, about 1,000,000 people in a town meant for 5,000.

I wouldn't go there, if I were you.
