What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I'm not familiar with having things powder coated- do you pick a sheen and texture?

E4 from E3 was a nice jump, but most of the other incentives are already spent before I even get them. Housing takes BAH, BAS goes to groceries, and COLA actually goes to the extra cost it takes to live in Alaska. As far as bonuses I didn't have one available when I joined and right now there's not one for air traffic controllers. Somehow finance and other office jobs have a bonus, but not ATC. I understand it's all based on manning and their jobs are important, but there's no way someone in finance is making the same level of critical decisions and under the same amount of pressure as an air traffic controller is. I'll just keep saving like I am though and soon enough get my truck higher in the air with some bigger rubber underneath it

35k is pretty close, but like I said above most of those benefits are never actually seen. Yes they allow me to keep more of my take home pay, but the COLA is the only one I may see any extra left over from. I do love the amount of leave that is afforded but right now our tower is about 40% manned with no change in the immediate future. Taking leave is not an easy thing to do up here, but it helps me get closer to and start saving use or loose

 

Yeah, most Pc shops have lots of colors available. I just went with matte black. They also sand blasted it first, then a coat of zinc rich primer, then color coat.

 

20 years of service for me and I never got a reenlistment bonus. Being in use or loose status is great, it just seems to take forever to get there.

 

Just had both front wheel bearings replaced on my 2008 Tacoma....and what a smooth'er ride!

 

Specs on wheels and tires? Are those the Bronze? they really look gold.
