How did you mount these on the inside? That is a super clean loom. I havent taken mine apart yet, so it may be apparent once I do.

 

No but really... a lot of cutting and test fitting Used the stainless bolt it came with for mounting.

I took the mirror cover off and I see what you mean by careful drilling and cutting. Making it fit recessed and look good is a pretty solid challenge. I assume you sealed the housing surrounding the light with tape or something?

No sealing is needed. Water gets in the mirror regardless(it's all open around the glass mirror).
Which is why I used the Rigid ignite as its 100% waterproof. I just tried to get it as close as possible to the mirror cover.

 

Id be more than happy to send mine to you, and let you do it (compensation, naturally). I imagine you get that request a lot.

red is positive and black is negative

 

These would be even better, then you use the power mirror to move the light and aim.

Where did you tap into the wiring harness to get power?

 

I bought aftermarket mirrors for this install on the sr5 and I noticed something. If anyone wants to add the rigid ignites as ditch lights but didn’t want to cut out the whole inside for the stealth look. It seems like the ignites can sit right here without interfering with the mirrors folding function.
