Did you have to CMC/or mod fenders?

It seems that the way mine are mounted are no different that the shocks with the resi - the Mounting Ring is on top beneath the shock housing...
**note that the guy I spoke to at fox was not a mechanic, but more a a sales and support guy,

For mall wheeling it will probably be fine. Make sure your bump stop hits before the shock bottoms out, and you might need limit straps to avoid over extending everything while drooped.

Not sure why the install guy would intentionally install them wrong when they are adjustable.

I think its less travel. Imagine you have 10 inches of travel,
Didn't mention you were running 305's that might be your problem haha not the proper way to get the height though. Move the top hat over the coil bucket and get some maxtrac spindles imo

I got approx 3" - the coilover is not maxxed out, I was told that doing the inversion allowed them to back off on maxxing it out.

Yes good point for sure - So basically I know enough to question something when I get a gut feel about shit... To their credit, the guys doing the work are an experienced shop, they been in biz a long time and I've seen some complex work they have done...show vehicles etc... the owner looks at me like I'm cray cray when I tell him I research this stuff and want what I want.. from the look of the mount of the resi vs non-resi, both have the mounting ring under the the coil bucket.. It pisses me off when one relies on someone to do a job right, but they they bend the rules - sometimes that not a bad thing, mechanics know all kinds of let's say "workarounds"....haha, I will be taking it back to see if the is a better solution within factory recommendations...thanks for everyone's comments so far

Crazy...get the correct springs. I hate that fox coilovers you have to crank the shit out of them to gain lift

    Also fix the top hat

Lots of plans, little money....
Fix that shit now! You are most likely going to bottom out the shock before you hit bump stop. Cool way to kill a cool shock. Just my 2 ¢, but that shit wouldn't fly with me. Take it back and demand they fix it. You can't fit a tire that size without lots of cutting and hammer time. No point in ruining your nice suspension to fit a tire. To each their own though.

So now Fox has a record that your suspension is installed wrong. Good luck getting them to cover it if anything happens to them down the road.
