Nothing crazy. We are looking at developing a tuned Big-Maf intake. Most likely carbon fiber with billet MAF housing w/ honeycomb. This helps provide the most stable airflow readings for the MAFs, which ultimately results in better response and accurate fuel targets.

We will be opening back up most likely tomorrow because we don't want to create another massive influx of orders which puts us in a perpetual spiral of always "catching up." Since PM's and emails are stacking up again I don't want to run into this again.

Hopefully this will stabilize everything to a point we can get to the point of fast shipping.

For any order already placed I'm packing boxes right now for most.

SO, as it is right now - when we open back up expect early august ship date on new orders.

With how many people are asking when it will be back, or if they can be "snuck in" with all current orders (lol!!) I will say with current response, the longer you wait to get a kit reserved, the further back in the list you'll be, the longer the delay.


Any 4th of july orders who were unable to use the discount code, we will be processing that code onto your order over the weekend.


Our datalogging portion we will be releasing soon that all kit owners will be able to use. Like I mentioned for some datalogging is going to be a requirement but for a majority of trucks you will be able to flash our Calibration + selective updates and go. That is one big focus on our calibration for this platform is we wanted to make a a base calibration that works for everyone, and updates to follow suit.

 

Can I be snuck in to the list of people being snuck in?

Kinda like this? Had to calibrate my MAF A and B tables, watch LTFT and demanded A/F to take full advantage of the extra mass airflow to the 2871...Will there be much gain though on the N/A motor?

 

We are working through xx50-xx70's, then xx80's up to the last

@Area32 - does that MAF (assuming its a V8 MAF) make much difference?

 

@OVTune Hey Mat, would I get better results with the tune to keep my CAI installed or would it be better to re-install the factory air box?

 

I do not know what a V8 MAF means. In my case I am running a 3" intake to a GT2871r turbo. More mass airflow + more fuel = more power. Granted this is in a F/I instance. On N/A id assume a power gain but not substantial. I could be very wrong though.
