Thanks, that was the 3rd try with the vinyl wrap, still not 100% happy with it. Next rainy day I may redo it.

 

I thought it was paint. Vinyl wrap sounds like a better idea. I am impressed!

 

I thought about paint first but figured in and out of a pocket it wouldn't hold up. 3m 1080 automotive vinyl is pretty tuff stuff, fingers crossed that it holds up!

 

Any chance we can get a manual trans/non smart key one?

 

Did you guys get shipping emails for the fob after you ordered or just a receipt? Just trying to figure out shipping times.

My first fob was from the preorder but my second I want to say it took approximately a week to get it from the order date.

 

Do you happen to have a time-frame for when the Quicksand will arrive?

Too bad it doesn't have an opening on the side. There's a little tab on the normal fob where I was able to put some paracord through and make a lanyard. I don't trust using the key portion as the attachment point.
Just afraid the button will get pressed and the fob will fall off and all I'll be left with is the key.

 

I don't see a way to take my key Fob apart does anyone have instructions or a video?, these damn things didn't come with any instructions

 

Use a small flat head screw driver or knife tip in one of the cut outs and it should pop right open. Shouldn't need much force. Once open it's just a swap of parts. Very straight forward.

 

If you pop the key out of the Toyota Fob look at the area where the key was. There's a small slot there that the key tip fits into. Put the key in there and give it a little turn and the Toyota fob pops right in half.

From there it's a straight swap over.

I've got mine on the way, should be here soon-ish. Thinking I might paint it in the same color as the truck, Blazing Blue Pearl.
