    That is strange... I was just out on the deck with the youngest dog looking for any critters to come by and remembered when I got my great grandmothers cast iron pans, 2 of them. They were a lot thinner and lighter than this new lodge stuff and I cooked everything on them. The Ex wife when we first got married would wash them with soap and they would rust and she threw them away. I kept digging them out of the trash but eventually they disappeared. And realized tonight that almost anything from my family she threw away over 25 years. She had and has family issues apparently.

    Ouch. The general consensus is that now that BP owns them the prices will go up. And their selection has already gone down. At least for the things that matter.

    I do like my Cabelas Cast Iron Griddle, at about 50 pounds it can cook a LOT of bacon.
