We have a lot of cattle in CA as well. Harris Ranch is fucking stacked with beef livestock.

Not sure where Costco sources their meat from, though.

 

Hell, he can just drop it off on his way back.

 

And yet I don't cook enough of em. But shopping this weekend. I'm re-hooked

 

Mine is salted and sitting in the fridge waiting on a 6am smoke.

I'm from the San Joaquin Valley. When the wind blows east we smell Harris Ranch...blows west its the dairy farms in Tulare County...no wind blowing you still smell the cow shit.

You get used to it I guess...until you smell a million of them at once.

 

Of raw brisket or copious amounts of smoke?

 

Driving from SoCal to the bay on I-5 in the summer you get to experience the dying agriculture industry that politicians created, and the aroma of Harris Ranch. Quite the drive.

It is still early on the west coast, so if I get it going anytime before midnight it will be done in perfect time for tomorrow afternoon.

 

I have a RD membership, never use it for buying meat. Costco is the only place I buy meat for smoker. But that's just how I roll

That is affirmative, but I will have to get creative on getting it in the WSM 14. I did get the smallest one they had to try and make it easier.

Hang it. They make kits to do this but you'll probably need to improvise this time and buy random parts at home Depot to make it work.
