I love books, real ones. I have a large library and like to just look at them on the shelves. I never open a book more than 45 degrees and NEVER break the spine. I don't loan books unless I never want it back.

I hang out with weird people from the interwebs.:anonymous:

Also, I count semi's I pass on the way to work. I have the route divided into 2 segments. I've done this so long I have daily averages for each segment.

When I park any vehicle, front wheels HAVE to be pointed straight. Steering wheel must be centered.

Alright I've read everyone else'd dirty laundry time to air my own. I really had to think about things that may seem odd to others as everything seems normal or perfectly logical to me.

When I buy a firearm I have to shoot it that day, and I have to shoot it 100 times in a row with no malfunctions or I won't ever depend on it for protections of self or loved ones. If I do have a malfunction I will restart at 0 but the number goes up to 200. If I habe more than 5 malfunctions the gun will only ever be seen as a range toy. This has not yet happened as I only buy good quality guns. Pretty partial to Sigs.

When I dry fire a firearm, any firearm, at home, gun stores, gun shows, when friends ask me to try out their new trigger etc. I have to check it three times, once visually and physically to see the mag well is clear of the weapon, return to firing position, check the barrel is empty visually and physically, return, withdraw the last time ensure the bolt/breach chamber is empty visually and physically.

Whenever I get a new knife I have to bleed on it, fortunately this isn't often as I only buy good knifes. Not much, just a little prick usually near the nail bed on the back of a finger, it just has to draw my own blood and I have to see blood on the blade before I use it on anything else, it gets sterilized, cleaned, and oiled right after.

If I'm not going to use my computer for more than an hour it has to be shutdown not sleep/hibernate but fully shut down.

I have no problems using other peoples computers but no one is allowed to use mine, not thay I have anything to hide, hell all my good stuff is on a USB SSD with no password lock or encryption, I just don't want anyone to use my machine.

No one but me is allowed to ride my motorcycle
No one is allowed to drive or even move my truck. My car I could care less about but my truck is mine damn it.

I get cravings to drink pickle juice, not crazy about pickles themselves but I've bought a jar of claussens just to drink the juice before.

I keep track of what car is behind me and will slow down or turn off if I feel like it's been there too long.

I keep track of cars that pass me, I've found I very frequently pull up to the same traffic lights getting off the highway as a car that scremed by me at 100mph when I'm doing 65.

I won't keep a device that updates automatically, wverythinf has to be done manually when I want it to not when it wants to.

I only purchase manual transmission vehicles. I HATE AUTOMATICS WITH A FLAMING PASSION.

I bump check my nightstand gun everytime I laydown to sleep and my edc gun everytime I strap it on.

I have to pee after I drop one or I feel extremely uncomfortable until I do, this means sometimes I'm sitting there filling out deposit paperwork to the porcelain bank for my sea side log cabin for 30mins or more.

Shower curtain must be open before I sit down to do my paperwork.

I can't set alarms for exact times, has to be like 6:57 for a 7am alarm or 7:02.

I have to clean my ears with qtips everytime I get out of the shower, can't stand water in my ears.

I hate wet feet, it just pisses me off. I always keep spare shoes and socks around, in my pack, in my truck, my locker at work etc.

I can't fall asleep on an airplane, even trans pacific 18hr+ flights I will not sleep.

I consider unexpectedly seeing tree frogs and the number 17 to be signs of "everything is going exactly as it should be don't worry."

That's all I can think of for now.

    Fuck ain't nobody "normal."

I also set alarms for odd times. 6:58 means I'm getting a jump on a 7am alarm, 7:02 means I'm lazy. I also eat one portion at a time. People think it's weird but I'm just enjoying my green beans then I'll enjoy the mashed potatoes. A guy I work with mixes everything he brings for lunch and pours ranch on it. Then he smacks/mouth breaths profusely when he eats it, drives me fucking nuts. He also still lives with his parents at 28 so I'm sure that's the least of his "imperfections"

when i see a cardinal or dragonfly i always think that its a family member whose passed away watching over or visiting.
after my gradpa passed away i started seeing more dragonflies. sometimes i even get them to land on me and sit for a while. never happened before.
ive also been seeing a lot more cardinals around than ive noticed before

i lock my truck twice every time i park. when i park at home if i didn't remember hearing it beep twice i will walk back outside and redo it. even after taking a shower. i also put a sun shade up in the windshield at night...idk privacy reasons i guess.
