So.. showing my ignorance but I don't know what this is called [IMG] I have the tow package but need this receiver + the ball. I need to stop by Napa or O'Rileys on my way to pick the trailer up and grab one... what should I ask for so I don't look like a tool?

Make sure the seller confirms the size of the ball required. A trailer this size should be a 2" or 1 7/8" ball.

Also this page will be helpful to make sure you have the correct drop or rise for the ball mount so the trailer rides level:

Thanks @Toyko Joe this is very helpful. I did confirm the ball size its 2" as for the ball mount.. I really have no idea which one to buy and i'm hoping one of the guys @ the autoparts store can help me pick one that will work.

Go with a 2" drop with a 2" ball mounted probably run you about $32. You should be safe with that. :fingerscrossed::thumbsup:

A 4" drop might suit the situation better going off the chart the MFG has.

They only had a 3 1/4 drop. I got that but it looks so low to the ground! I get the trailer in about 30 min or so ...guess we will see

Its a bit lower than I would like. I think im going to see if I can swap out the hitch for a 2" drop and see how that does. Overall the trailer is fantastic so far. I helped a friend move yesterday and we packed it solid! Taco pulled it like a champ... now my backing up with it that is a different story! I need lots more practice..

Thanks me either but right before I bought it I did a ton of research on them. They are pretty darn good trailers as far as I can tell. I want to beef it up some and make it a bit more sturdy. The wheels are much smaller than I would like 13" and the axel and springs are seriously light. I am also still trying to figure out how I want to build this rack. I'm hoping to go in the direction of This style. [IMG]
