My daughters friends dad is a bike cop. Actually a really nice guy (although never seen him at work), but alas is fat...haha.

In my head, that's exactly what was going on.

 

Turbo Lover tour was my very first concert. I was in 4th grade, my buddies older brother took us and pierced my ear in the parking lot. My parents were not impressed!

 

hahaha. That's f**king awesome. A 4th-grader at a JP concert. Must've been quite the scene for a 9-10 yo.

I know a bunch of cops. Gotta be in the neighborhood of 30 cops I know personally. They are all great guys. Couple CHP. Many Sherrifs, and PD. Oakland, Berkeley, Sacramento.
I will admit, however, that when I get pulled over, or confronted by cops, for whatever reason, more times than not, they are dicks. Could be the times we live in. Lots of cop shootings. They have a rough job. Most see nothing but shit all day long. It can have an effect. Why do you think the divorce rate is so high in that line of work. The job taints you. It's not the case for all, but for many. Four of my very best friends are cops, or retired cops. They are the most dependable people I've ever known. And they have my back. Well, as long as I don't do anything really stupid. Couldn't ask for better friends than them.
