    It's fun when you guys notice the small tweaks.

    So... The OP indicator is helpful to know if the guy or girl who started the thread liked your post. I found myself frequently having to look up who the OP was to see if a particular Like meant the post was beneficial to their question.

    Animated gifs are huge in size. So, like we did with photobucket, we are now transparently converting certain gifs to actual video format (mp4) and swapping out the prehistoric gif with the modern video file. The mp4 is often 1/10 the size of the gif it was converted from, so the pages load faster for you all (and as bonus we do save some bandwidth like @medic2230 pointed out.)
