Might have some time this weekend to fab some side projects. Thinking of using this as a basis for my sliders, thoughts?

Also can't tell from the pic but try to angle them up 15-20* so they don't get hung up on everything :boink: @Subway4X4

I'm wondering if I can modify my @Mobtown Offroad sliders to angle upwards?

Nope. Can't be done. Once something is made it can never be modified.

Thinking of something like this, use 1/2 plate instead of 1/4 and square tubing.

Do you recommend a swept front to deflect of obstacles?

They're round tube tho so how is he gonna cut the tube, change the angle re notch the tube and re weld without major fab work?

Also yes swept front and make the outer square tube (yellowtube) angled, not parallel with ground...I'd also go with square tube between not plate... like the original photo for strength purposes

Mine are 2x2x1/8" and are heavy as hell. 1/4" wall would be absurdly heavy.

You "could" but it would make more sense to sell and buy new. Would take a ton of time to change them. And would be really tough to do it cleanly.

Why the fck did you sell me these and not the angled ones? :boink:
This is why I can't do blacks all three days at Rausch like the cool boyz.
