I have a tonneau cover btw. So I chose the long and tall version and tonneau brackets.

This combo will work with my tonneau right?

Your cover has to 63.25" wide or less.

The accessory rail in the bed must not have been relocated.

The cover must be able to fit the brackets shown in the pics below.

I have a short bed and was considering running the shortbed rack but positioning the rack further back by mounting the rear crossmember on the bed hole like this:

Reason being I want to run a hardshell RTT thats about 83" long but want it centered over the rack.

Has anyone ran this setup and have pictures?

Does an awning attach directly to this without a tent?? I know one of the pictures has both a RTT and a awning, but hard to tell. I want to attach awning only to make a room for when using the camper without the tent. It would be the ARB 1250.

Anyone successfully install a Roll-n-lock M series tonneau with the long bed tall rack? I have my rack and tonneau brackets and my '17 Taco goes into the shop Saturday to get the Roll-n-lock cover installed (well, they're going to dry fit it first to see if it will work, but I figured I'd check on here in the meantime.

Just called Roll-n-Lock and they said there's no play on the width, it's tight and you can't mount a ladder rack or anything, so that answers that. :(

Sorry if this has been covered already, but can you mount rotopacks on the mid height long bed rack or will they hit the bedsides? From what I'm seeing the packs are 13" tall but the rack is only 10.....

Received the rack, assembled it. Atm, the long bed version does not seem to work with the short bed version.
Am I stuck with this bed rack?

It will definitely work. You attach it to those bolts by the tailgate.

Well shit it fits. But tonneau wont fit. FML. Anyone know a tonneau that will fit without anchoring to the bolts near the tailgate and the tslots nearest to the cab? 2015 OR Shorty

My 2017 Tacoma TRD Sport, Quicksand, long bed w/Extang Trifecta 2.0 tonneau

I may move the rack back a bit but right now the rear bracket for the bed rack is right up against the tonneau bracket.

Bummed that I can't open the tonneau with the rack on, hopefully KB Voodoo will come up with a cool design for that, even if it's to open 1 panel.

I originally wanted to go with a Retrax Pro MX rolling aluminum tonneau but the dealer said it won't fit (the horizontal width is really tight so no luck getting the Voodoo brackets in.

I then looked at the Roll-n-Lock M Series aluminum but when I called the manufacturer, they said there's no play on theirs either "you can't use it with a ladder rack" was their response.

The Pace Edwards Full-Metal Jackrabbit seems to be the one people are using with this Voodoo rack but the truck shop I was in said they didn't recommend Pace Edwards.

So for now, I got the Extang (had a Trifecta on my '07 and it was great). I still want to get a rolling aluminum one so I can utilize the bed and lock it and feel secure vs vinyl.

I called in and spoke to Chad who worked with me on my Yakima Skyrise 3 rooftop tent measurements and we ultimately decided it WILL work by mounting the tent directly to the rack (not using Yakima's "quick fists") He was answering emails late as we threw measurements out back and forth all night. Extremely impressed with the customer service and best efforts to keep items in stock. I am also in sales and this is the kind of company that will forever earn my business for any any needs that I have that match their product offering. I bought the mid height short bed for my '17 Off Road and am so excited to get it mounted up!

    Thank you KB Voodoo!

Any chance a group buy is in the near future for these sweet racks?
