Maybe this will help. It's an older diagram for the 95-00 trucks but it shows you the cruise components in the Toyota parts catalog.

Lessened the nut a 1/4 turn, with touching the brake pedal. I can't go any looser without having to remove the sensor plug on top of the switch. Anybody have a picture of a stock brake light switch so I can compare thread position. I should have taken a picture of the position of my stock switch before removing it.

Adjusted brake switch. Going to go for a test run see if it's solved. So close and thanks for hanging in there!

Resurrecting as I believe here is appropriate:

Is anyone able to provide a part no. for the cruise control module (Not shown in the diagram and located in the passenger kick panel) to a 1999 3.4L Prerunner? I can only seem find references to the 3RZ's part no.

    Thanks all.

I came across this in a different thread. It could be a great explanation as to why the module is missing in the previous diagram. Any thoughts? Can anyone confirm? Thanks.

    Bump.

Just a friendly bump to the above inquiry about cruise control module part number for a 1999 5vz Prerunner. Or is the module incorporated in the actuator? I seem to be just coming across 2/3rz references with regards to the module in the kick panel.

Looking to go factory and delete the Gulf States dealer add on.

    Thanks.
