    wut?!

I'm thirsty for a coffee but I'm not waiting for inheritance to buy one. my mom's gonna live to be well over 90, no doubt.

@friendlywithbears aren't you the guy who lead me to jump on the SPC UCA Group buy, which utterly transformed my truck along with solving all the world's problems? yeah that's right it was you... now you can solve your own wonky throttle map problem.

this is where FI development starts, as you know. join us and keep up with the development while enjoying the drive.

I've got a 2010 Camry LE with a 6 speed manual - IMHO Toyota did it right with that one - You have a ring around the shifter shaft that you lift with your fingers to put it in reverse (same location as the Taco). Never a problem of finding reverse when you want first. Wished they could have doe this with the Taco !

Anybody experience some mild popping/shaking in clutch pedal when starting from a dead a stop.

as in, a pedal effect? or do you mean you can feel the clutch itself doing something weird?

i would say i experience a little of what you describe just from the pedal. the pedal assembly is, to me, probably the cheapest plasticky thing on the truck and I'm looking for a solution. hopefully the will be a solid pedal assembly replacement at some point.

Yeah, the problem was definitely NOT fixed in all 2017's. I had it in mine. Good news is though that their fix truly did fix the problem.

Does anyone think or noticed that if the spring and ball helped with the somewhat clunky shift?

All I feel is the peddle vibrate when I'm engaging the clutch in 1st gear or reverse.

Can't say I have this. I hear some popping as it is coming up but that is because mine is creaking and squeaking all over the place. I don't feel any shaking in the pedal, I do feel vibration through it when fully depressed or coming up, but nothing excessive or what I would consider out of the ordinary.

I could not handle that ugly stock double ball looking shift handle, mine was gone the first day!

Well worth the price in my opinion. All the manuals should have come from the factory like that instead of the ball looking one.

It's fugly, but way comfortable, and matches the steering wheel in feel/comfort, so I don't worry about it.
