That's great. If you read any medicine material, comes with 4 pages of side effects, blah, blah, blah. I remember the stuff my doc gave me for my knee  omg the side effects were (or could be) horrible and there were pages of them. thank fully it was a non issue.

Looks like y'all are high and dry on this one. And it may skirt north of us but we did just get a little rain.

Hello all. Wife and I decided to go to a local Mexican food joint, then we waddled home and can barely keep our eyes open. We actually talked and laughed. I can get used to the empty nest.

It was funny last night, we had a big @MQQSE celebration and rob never showed up.

I had Cabela's ship a shotgun from another store to the one an hour away from me. They called me when it came in and I told them with work it would be at least 2 weeks before I could pick it up. They said no problem. Just drove all the way there, no gun. The guy in the Gun Library said if no one picks up a gun in one week they sell them. WTH?! Walked around and there it was in the gun library. Store I ordered it from said the invoice would take 10% off for me. No invoice they threw it away. I talked them into giving it to me anyhow then pulled out my retired military ID and asked for an additional 5% off. Thought the guy was going to blow a gasket but he did.

At least I didn't get under further review from NICS. Not sure why the I is there it is anything but instant, long day after work.

Did some digging on the internet today and made some phone calls during lunch. Found unsliced uncured skinned pork bellies 10 miles away at a packing plant, he asked me how many I wanted. Going to be there when they open at 9 AM tomorrow :) Take a week to cure but I can wait.

Christie and I went to a local vineyard tonight. During the late summer everyother Friday night they have live music. You can bring a picnic dinner or buy one of their gourmet brick oven pizas. It's a pretty place and a relaxing evening.

As for Cabela's customer service sounds as if a note to corporate might be in order.
Pork bellies! I think there needs to be a bacon emoji.

    ....mmmm....pork bellies....

Still on our way home. Staying the night at NAS Lemoore. $68, don't have to worry (as much) about stuff getting ripped off out of the Jeep and everyone here speaks the same language (military jargon and acronyms). And clean comfortable rooms. Probably stop at the exchange on the way out in the morning to grab coffee for the road and the wife wants to see what they have.
