My 07 Tacoma Prerunner is getting airbags and the elect brakes so I can tow a trailer.
The front springs seem weak as it is.
What is the spring rate of my 07 and what would be the next heavier front spring?
    Perhaps something from a 4wd?

    TIA

I searched this forum and tried google.
This info has to be somewhere?
I want to go to the next stronger spring.
    Any help out there?

If your truck is any 6 lug model besides the trd offroad, you have linear springs up front meaning the spring rate stays the same as the coil is compressed. Trd offroads came with progressive springs up front so the spring rate increases as the coil is compressed. If youre wanting to stick with OEM (Toyota) springs up front but want something stiffer maybe try picking up a set of used trd offroad take offs with low miles off of craigslist. Hope this helps some

Edited to add: since you have an 07, if youre wanting a Toyota spring that also provides a little lift, the coil springs from the third gen tacomas provide an inch of lift

    No extra lift thank you.
I have a lowering kit to bring it down a few inches.
I'm getting air bags installed today so I can carry a little more
    and pull a small trailer.
The front end does not bottom out, but it is a bit soft.
I would like to keep some balance between F/R.
I like the idea of TRD springs, but I don't have the time/energy to experiment.
Still can't find the ratings for different springs.

    TIA
