one last question haha but can I put my own HID kit in them? The pic online is a little misleading with the wiring coming out of the light and I just want to make sure I can put whatever H1 bulb in there

Yep I used the Innovited H1 HID Kit.

 

When i pulled the rear bumper cover off to have it linex'ed, i noticed the bumper reinforcement bar was completely rusted through. The replacement finally arrived, and is now installed. Pics of the rusted out original:

 

Starting wife's first oil change. Just hit 5k miles since purchase. Mobile1 5w20 full synthetic. New filter. Love this filter location. So easy.

Do you have to bend the fender to get that bolt in like on my 4runner?

 

I did just a little bit. Removing the grill will make it easier to get the bolt in too.

One side is done!

 

I found the passenger side to be MUCH easier than driver.

 

A little more preventive maintenance. Took off the stock apron skirts and made my own to cover the whole area. Hopefully no more salt spray in the engine bay this winter

The longest part was getting the first side done for the middle. Once I had the template the other side only took 15mins, about 1.5hrs total and 15$

 

It hasn't to my knowledge and the DS has no dents.

Added a USB outlet.

The center console was disgusting so cleaned that up and rerouted my Android unit's USB wires.. they're hidden now

If you did a frontend retrofit, I think it might work. The body styling changes for 12-15, so it wouldn't line up right on your truck.

replaced the driver side cv axle seal again. Hope it stops leaking htis time.

 

Bulletproof Fab Recovery Hook with 3/4" shackle.

 

Cleaned the MAF sensor and throttle body. I've got the wrong TB gasket, so I can't put everything totally back together until I get the gasket. Hopefully, it will be here on Tuesday. I bought a Felpro gasket from Autozone, but it doesn't fit. Autozone's system says it is the right one for the 2TR-FE, but the packaging says it is for the 1ZZ-FE. I figured that they were interchangeable, but it is a smaller diameter and the tabs on the metal part don't line up with where they need to seat.

I also finally got around to cutting on my @CaliRaisedLed ditch light brackets to make them fit. I'm working on putting some paint on them to protect the exposed metal where I modified them and where the powdercoat was flaking off in the bolt holes. I'll let the paint cure until later next week or the weekend, and then finally install them for good hopefully.

Here's a couple of before/afters of the throttle body. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it might be since I'm at around 106k miles.
