I have a Coleman hard sided carry-on (and matching large suitcase). I've had it for 6 years working for SWA and traveling pretty frequently and haven't had any issues. However, doing a quick search of the internet I can't find the set I have. That said, I love the hard sided bags and will purchase another when it comes time to replace these.

Thanks for the recommendation, if you're in Dallas and working for SWA there's a chance we'll run into each other, I'm flying out of there Sunday morning.

I ended up picking up a Travelpro that Amazon had on sale for Prime Day

    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
Flew the Mooney this morning with 2 new cylinders... flying pretty good although the engine seems to run a bit rough at different manifold pressures... 24" all is happy and 20" she gets a bit rough... even with leaning and enriching the mixture... A&P thinks the mags need to be rebuilt

I have the same issue, were technically not supposed to take pictures, but they are pretty lax about it as long as it doesn't paint them in a bad light

A little of this and a little of that.
I see where you've already made a purchase, but I have had good durability with LuggageWorks bags.

I caught this shot last Saturday at the Flying Legends Airshow. The canopy of Berlin Express shattered as it dove for the first pass and what was supposed to be a loop. There was a "pop" and then pieces of the canopy landed at the end of the runway. You can see the dents in the leading edges of the vertical and horizontal stabilizers.

On top of some sheet metal work and a new canopy they might need a new seat in that thing because I bet even if they can pry it out I'm sure the pucker factor squished it.

I wonder if the canopy didn't seal all the way? Air got under it and popped the glass.

That it is! Hopefully the F-35 can have a career like the F-16 since we will be getting them in 2 years
